Question
When is the RSVP deadline?
Answer
Due to mailing delays, we have extended our deadline to RSVP until August 25th. Of Course, we encourage you to RSVP sooner if possible!

What's the best way to RSVP?
Answer
You can RSVP through the RSVP tab of our website or you can RSVP the traditional way by sending in your RSVP card. If you RSVP on our website, please go to the RSVP tab and enter in your name as it appears on your invitation. There you are able to RSVP for your entire party.

What is the dress code?
Answer
The dress code for our wedding is "summer cocktail or Sunday best". Our main concern is that you enjoy yourself so please wear what you feel your best in! Ladies may consider a summer sundress (we respectfully request no white) with wedges or dressy sandals. For men, dress pants or khaki pants with a collared shirt., coats and sports jackets not required.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
Answer
Both the ceremony and reception will be taking place at Millikan Farms, 3983 Millikan Rd, Sophia, NC 27350.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our ceremony will be indoors and our reception will be outdoors under a covered area. We also have a plan B should there be rain.

What happens after the ceremony?
Answer
The bride, groom, and family will be taking photos for approximately 15-30 minutes following the ceremony. While the family is taking photos we will be serving bruschetta bread and potato skins and invite you to check out some of the fun activities we have for our guests.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?
Answer
We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres immediately following the ceremony. Dinner will be served buffet style, we are serving smoked brisket and Santa-fe chicken from Smokehouse Bistro (one of our favorite restaurants). The best part is.. you don’t have to choose between chicken or beef, everyone gets BOTH! Of course there will be cake and a smores bar too!

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
Yes. There will be an open bar serving beer, wine, and Bill's lemonade.

What about friends of Bill?
Answer
First, thank you for celebrating with us! I think you all know that Steve and I owe a special thanks to every one of you! Steve and I have put special effort into our wedding to ensure there are plenty of fun activities and you can have a great time. Some of the fun activities include the Special Occasions Band, cornhole, connect four, and a smores bar! Also, we are serving a tasty non-alcoholic "mocktail" at the bar, just ask for "Bill's Lemonade"!

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?
Answer
Yes! Millikan Farms has onsite parking and a parking attendant.

Do you have a wedding registry?
Answer
While we are not having a traditional registry (because we're sooo traditional..) we have several cash fund options on our registry tab. Please know that your attendance at our wedding is the only gift we ask for!

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?
Answer
Once again, your presence on our special day is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table and card box for your convenience.

Can I bring my kids?
Answer
While we love your little ones, unfortunately we can't accommodate children at our wedding. ***We have invited children from our immediate families. If your child's name was included on your invitation, they are welcome to attend the ceremony and reception.***

Yes! Millikan Farms is fully handicap accessible.
