We've opted for an adults-only affair. We want everyone to be able to relax and enjoy themselves. We appreciate your understanding and accommodations.

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.

Is there parking at Old St Pats?

Answer

There is complimentary parking in the indoor lot at 625.W. Adams St. Enter via Des Plaines Street, and take a ticket from the box marked “Old St. Patrick’s Church” and no payment is required upon exiting the structure. If a ticket is pulled from the other box at the top of the ramp at any time, payment will be required upon exit. Payment is required for all area surface lots, as Old St. Patrick’s does not own those properties.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

We'll make our way to The Old Post Office for cocktail hour and reception. The venue is located a short 10 minute walk or 5 minute drive from Old St. Pats.

Will the event be held inside or outside?

Answer

Weather permitting, the cocktail hour will be outside and reception indoors

Can I take photographs during the ceremony?

Answer

While we love that you want to capture our special moments, we kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present and immersed in the experience. Our professional photographer will be capturing all the highlights, and we'll share the photos with you afterwards. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating a distraction-free environment for our ceremony.

Yes! We'll keep the fun going after the reception at a bar just a few short steps away.
