Cassie and Logan’s story began in Galena, IL—where they both grew up and went to the same school. They might have met sooner, but fate had other plans (or maybe it was just the five-year age gap). Instead, their paths crossed in 2018 when Cassie interviewed at Logan’s mom’s company. Logan was part of the interview team, and when Cassie got the job, he was assigned to train her as she took over his graphic design role. It didn’t take long for them to discover how much they had in common. What started as friendly conversations at work turned into Friday nights with coworkers at Backpocket, the arcade bar down the street, where they’d spend hours playing games and laughing together. In 2019, they discovered their shared love of music, and “after-work jam sessions” became a regular thing, playing guitar and singing for hours. Cassie insists she just wanted to get better at guitar, but really, it was all about spending more time with Logan (bonus: she got better at guitar, too). From 2019 to 2021, they were inseparable—playing music, going to movies, exploring concerts, and playing video games together. Logan became Cassie’s biggest cheerleader when she started performing live music in 2021, attending almost every show. By 2022, while playing music together (as usual), they had a moment of clarity: what they had was more than friendship. Taking the leap was scary, but they couldn’t ignore how perfectly they fit together. Slowly, they tested the waters, and what they found was everything they’d been hoping for. Fast forward to 2024, and they're living together, loving life, and officially engaged as of October 22, 2024. They can’t wait to celebrate with all of you and start this next chapter together!
