As you may know, Cassie’s mom, Jill, was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in January. This was a big shock to our family, and though we had originally planned to have our wedding in December, we decided to change our plans and have it as soon as possible. We hope that you will still be able to join us on such short notice, though we completely understand if you can’t make it work with your schedule!
We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up with us! Our dress code is cocktail attire. No jeans or khakis, please. Formal dresses for the ladies and suit jackets for the guys.
Jill will be immunocompromised from her cancer treatments, so we need to minimize risk for covid or any respiratory illness as much as possible. We ask that you please take a covid test the morning of the wedding to insure you are negative, and to stay home if you feel sick or unwell in ANY way.
Houston weather can be unpredictable. Our fingers are crossed for cool temps of 70-75 degrees as the sun sets. The wedding will be a majority outdoors, but the entire area is a covered patio so we don’t need to worry about rain!
The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30 pm. We ask that you please arrive by 6 pm.
There is a parking lot at the venue. However, the venue and hosts encourage guests to take an Lyft/Uber. We will be having a full open bar, and would love for our guests to enjoy themselves fully without the stress of who will be driving home!
We are working on a livestream for the wedding service so that those who cannot attend physically can still join us. Please check back for updates closer to the date!
