FAQs

The Wedding Website of Cassandra Hartnett and Katrina Lewonczyk
Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We encourage you to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable, confident, fun or fancy! Our wedding party will be mixing formal dresses and suits with rustic details like boots and flower crowns. And we can't forget light jackets or wraps in case of a New England spring chill! Since our venue is also a working farm, we recommend sensible shoes that can get a little bit muddy if needed :)

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! All invited names are included in your RSVP link. The kids in our lives are such an important part of our community, and we are so excited to share this celebration with them. The catering and bar staff will have kid-friendly recommendations (classic Shirley Temples, anyone?) and we are currently working on other accommodations to make the party friendly to all ages. For any parents who are feeding infants, the dressing suite on the property will be available to you anytime via golf cart - there is comfortable seating, as well as a kitchenette and small refrigerator you can use. If your family includes little ones, we'd love to hear about other ways we can help you all enjoy the fun!

Question

Do I have a plus one?

Answer

In order to accommodate as many dear ones as possible, everyone invited is named on the invitation, or in the case of a family unit, on the RSVP page.

Question

What kind of weather are we expecting?

Answer

In Massachusetts in the spring? Who knows! Average temperatures are usually between 50-70 degrees Fahrenheit. But the event barn at Quonquont Farm is climate-controlled, and our outdoor ceremony location is sheltered from rain. We even have a backup tent in case of unexpected stormy skies. Watch this space for radar updates as the date gets closer, courtesy of Katrina :) ONE DAY OUT- it will definitely rain in the morning but will hopefully clear up by the afternoon. The high looks to be about 62. Might be a bit breezy so plan a layer for the ceremony/cocktail hour. Sunset is 8pm.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Quonquont Farm has plenty of parking right by their event barn! We recommend carpooling for the good of the planet (and to make sure you have a designated driver) but there is no cost/concern about running out of parking. You can use code CASSIEKATRINA in the Lyft app to receive a discount on a safe ride to/from the venue: https://www.lyft.com/lp/CASSIEKATRINA

Question

Is there transportation between hotels and the venue?

Answer

We have opted not to get a shuttle service for the wedding since everyone will be split between different locations. Quonquont Farm has ample parking and cars can be left overnight as long as they are picked up by 12pm on Sunday. You can use code CASSIEKATRINA in the Lyft app to receive a discount on a safe ride to/from the venue: https://www.lyft.com/lp/CASSIEKATRINA

Question

Is the venue accessible?

Answer

Quonquont Farm is fully accessible for guests with mobility concerns- the staff will assist you in reaching the ceremony pavilion, patio, and event barn via golf cart. Please make a note of any mobility needs on your RSVP so we can save you all the appropriate seats :) For guests with visual/auditory impairments, or any other accessibility needs, we would be so grateful if you would reach out to us as soon as possible so that we can research and brainstorm the best ways to accommodate our whole community.

Question

Does the venue have gender-neutral restrooms?

Answer

Yes! Quonquont Farm is happy to mark each of their two restrooms with their layout (number of stalls, etc) rather than a gender marker, and stock both restrooms with hygiene products. We encourage you to use the restroom that works best for you.

Question

How can immunocompromised guests stay safer?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place outside under the farm's wooden pavilion. Throughout the reception, the outdoor patio and lawn will be open for mingling, lawn games, and sitting in the fresh air! In addition, any guests who feel more comfortable wearing a face mask at any point during the event will be respected and encouraged to do so. We also encourage all our guests to keep up-to-date on vaccinations and boosters- we'll be updating this space to reflect any local guidance or suggestions from medical professionals. Not feeling well the night before or day of? Please test before heading our way to make sure we can protect all of our attendees.

Question

What if I can't afford to join?

Answer

We do not want finances to stand in the way of our friends and family joining us! Please reach out if there is any way we can support your attendance.
