It all started at North Metro Church, where two adventurous souls crossed paths while looking to start an outdoor and young adults connection group. Josh Kyber and Cassie Scoggins both felt called to help others connect with God through fellowship and the beauty of His creation. Little did we know, God was also connecting us—to each other. We started as friends, bonding over our shared love of faith, the great outdoors, and our goofy sense of humor. After work, we’d often head to Kennesaw Mountain Battlefield with Cosmo (Cassie's dog), where we’d hike trails and have conversations about everything under the sun—biblical values, our dreams, and Josh's love for spinach and pine trees. Those talks quickly became the highlight of our days, where we could share anything and everything, always knowing the other person was listening with an open heart. Our relationship blossomed into something that felt as natural as breathing. In a world full of uncertainty, God gave us the gift of certainty in each other. Cassie’s grace, wisdom, and unshakeable faith drew Josh closer every day, While Josh's humor, biblical leadership, and discernment assured Cassie that taking the next step was the right decision. Together we've built a strong relationship (that many say mirrors Charles and Caroline Ingalls) and we are excited to invite you to join us for the next chapter of our life.
