Truthfully, no one is sure when Joey and Cassie met for the first time. Both of their dads spent their summers in Avalon when they were growing up and have remained friends ever since. Strangely enough, there’s no photo evidence of them meeting early in life even though Joey and Cassie had several near-misses in the Poconos, at the shore, Philadelphia, and even South Carolina. Ultimately, their paths crossed when they were adults about 6 years ago… and the rest is history! Joey proposed to Cassie after a long, sweaty beach run this past summer and she said yes before he could even pop the question.
