How We Met

I started working at Tiffany & Co. in November 2022, and that's when I met Jahan for the very first time. We instantly clicked , probably because we were two of the youngest people there and bonded. Very quickly, he became the friend I laughed with the most. One day, I told him that a colleague wanted to set me up on a blind date with her son. His reaction? Immediate panic. He told me not to go, which honestly scared me at first... until he finally admitted the truth-he didn't want me going because he wanted to ask me out. I said no, not because I didn't like him (I definitely had a little crush), but because I didn't want to turn our workplace into a soap opera. Well, that plan failed instantly. He didn't talk to me for an entire week, which made work even more awkward than dating a coworker ever would've. And then one day, Jahan told me we were going on a date THAT night and made reservations at a restaurant named Fin because my family recently got a puppy and we named him Finn. I thought it was the cutest sentiment, but I do not eat seafood and told him I already had plans that night... but Jahan had clearly decided "no" was no longer an acceptable answer.. So off we went on our first date in Morristown, to a cute little restaurant. I was nervous, he was determined, and somehow the whole thing was just perfect. The conversation flowed, our connection felt effortless, and by the end of the night, I knew in my heart that Jahan was the man I was going to marry.
