Adopted by Erika in Orlando, FL, Cricket packed up and moved to California in style. Together with Nelson and Murdock, he helped bring Erika and Cassie together at the dog park—matchmaker energy. Now with two moms, Cricket calls the shots and personally volunteered to be ring bearer. Obviously.

Cat lover, Star Wars and all nerd shit fan - and the person Erika looked up to as a kid. Whatever her cousin Nancy was doing, Erika wanted in. She's grown up to be a kind-hearted, badass medical field worker, and fearless spirit ready to have a good time at any given moment. We can't assure you that this flower girl will be dropping petals down the isle, so be prepared for anything!

Twilight lover, huge nerd, stone-cold weirdo. You’ll find her owning the dance floor—and good luck keeping up. Katelynn was Cassie’s randomly assigned freshman-year roommate who quickly became one of her closest and best friends. From terrorizing their college campus, launching a podcast, and raising two pups, to watching her grow into the coolest mom a kid could have—we’ve truly grown up together and now can’t imagine life without each other. She is the Olive Garden friend of the group; where she is, there's family.
Edwin Soto Saucedo
Bridesmaid - Erika
Queer, dog lover, life of any party, and proud Mexicano. Edwin and Erika have known each other since high school and their friendship got stronger when Erika moved all the way across the country - ironic, right?! They've traveled together, cheered each other on in their career growth and have shared countless laughs and memories. Edwin will also be the wedding officiant because who better to stand with us and guide this moment than someone who leads with authenticity, celebrates love in all its forms, and speaks so powerfully for our community.
Priyanka Fernando
Bridesmaid - Cassie
Resident cool girl, video game nerd, and all-around icon. Priyanka has impeccable music taste, so if she’s dancing to a song, you know it’s a good one. (Expect plenty of Carly Rae Jepsen at the wedding—you can thank Pri and Cassie for that.) Cassie has known Priyanka since her freshman year of high school, and their friendship really took off after playing soccer together. Over the years, Priyanka has been a constant source of joy and support, and Cassie feels incredibly lucky to have grown up alongside her. We truly couldn’t imagine celebrating this day without her by our side.

Mom, dog lover, baker, crafter, and truly one of the most big‑hearted people you’ll ever meet. Bry and Erika met in high school history class and served in leadership roles together, forming a friendship that has grown through every chapter of life. When Erika moved to Florida, distance didn’t stand in their way—it simply became an excuse for multiple Disney World trips. Bry always brings joy and positivity, and we couldn’t imagine our big day without her by our side.
Mackenna Cummings

AKA: Books. She’s also a huge nerd—but in the best way possible: brilliant, thoughtful, and incredibly well-read. You’ll either find her in the middle of the dance floor or tucked into a corner reading or crocheting—there is absolutely no in between. Cassie met Mackenna her freshman year of high school, where Mackenna was a fellow casualty of the “you should join the soccer team” movement. It was an honor to ride the bench with you—but an even greater one to truly get to know you.
Brittany Bachmann

Plant mom, Swifty, Disney fan, and a born party hostess. Brittany and Erika met working at the Taco Bell Foundation and have gone from work besties to real-life forever friends. Brittany has a big heart and the best intentions, often paired with unintentionally funny moments that make everyone around her laugh. She might be a Swifty, but she's in for good time- and we can count on her to keep the party going on the dancefloor with us!
Ryan Haley
Bridesman - Cassie
Podcast boy, movie lover, and karaoke king. Ryan will also be our host for the night, so you’ll catch him onstage, on the dance floor, and very likely by the bar. Cassie met Ryan through podcasting, back when Ryan was hosting shows out of his entirely too hot garage. What podcasts have brought together, let no one tear apart. Ryan is always there to support, uplift, and riff. He went out of his way to connect with a group of weird podcasters he’d just met—and now he’s stuck with us. Thank you for welcoming me into the Pop Filter family. I’m honored to know you and lucky to call you a friend.

Dog lover, foodie, traveler, fellow Disney lover, and born party host. Mohammad and Erika met working at the Taco Bell Foundation- their friendship is rooted from work trauma, so you know it's strong. Mohammad has a talent for turning even the dullest moments into something memorable —like performing High School Musical karaoke in front of a group of people you don't fully know. You'll certainly find him on the dancefloor doing Hannah Montana's Hoedown Throwdown at the wedding. Boom boom clap, boom de clap de clap!
Mike Gravagno
Bridesman - Cassie
Deeply into dinosaurs, known to have read a comic book or two, and proudly into ska. Mike will be onstage at some point as a host—and later on the dance floor, probably skanking. At some point in the night, he, Ryan, and Cassie will be screaming an emo song together in the middle of the dance floor. Apologies in advance to everyone else. Cassie also met Mike through podcasting, in that same very hot garage. He’s always there to either support or completely dismantle one of Cassie’s bits—but never to leave her hanging. Thanks for always yes‑and‑ing, committing fully to the bit, and being an incredible friend. Time to pick it up, pick it up, pick it up!
