When Cassie was 5 my mom told her I was coming into the world. She didn’t want me. Little did she know, I was the best thing that hadn’t yet happened to her. Being just sisters grew into #seesters, and slowly but surely she made me into the smaller version of her (only the good parts). Now I’m her boss. Conversation topics: Orangetheory. (Just kidding. It wasn’t fate that brought Cassie and I together. It was simply the fact that we were the only two weirdos or to put it nicely, outcasts, on our lacrosse team for the first day of practice. From that day on, we were always partnered up. Our bond, however, grew past lacrosse partners. We became sisters on and off the field. Cassie was my backbone, the person that kept me grounded and whenever I had a bad idea (there were plenty), she somehow managed to keep me on a straight line. Cassie carried me through college and as you can see from this picture, literally carried me. If super woman existed, she was it. Cassie has finally found her side kick, and I couldn’t be happier to celebrate this duo.

I met Cassie when I was 2 weeks old. Do I remember it? Not even a little. But when I look back on my life I certainly remember the impact she’s had on it.
