Cassie started her first teaching job in 5th grade at William Cappel Elementary in 2017. Unfortunately, she had some technology problems, and lucky enough for her, there was a cute IT guy that could fix all her problems! After multiple times of Brett coming in and helping fix the different problems, they started talking more and more! One day, Brett came to fix a problem and they ended up talking for 1 1/2 hours after school, and he ended up asking her to go to El Maguey for dinner, and invited her to the Blues Opening Day game the following day! A week later, they started dating!

Cassie was down in Florida visiting Rachel during her Spring Break! One of the days they were planning to go to Disney World because her friend had extra tickets through her Disney College Program. Cassie and Rachel arrived at Disney World early on March 15th and met up with Kendra and were going to meet up with Kendra's friend a little later. They decided to go take pictures at the Castle first thing so there wouldn't be as many people in the pictures. Kendra suggested she take pictures of Cassie and Rachel in front of the Castle, then Rachel suggested Cassie get some from behind by herself. A few minutes later, Brett tapped Cassie on the shoulder, got down on one knee, and proposed! This was the biggest surprise to Cassie, as she never expected him to fly down and propose at Disney World with such an elaborate plan! And, as Cassie turned around, she saw they were surrounded by both of their families! They spent the rest of the day celebrating in the park with their families!

We are just so excited to share our special and most favorite day with you! We will be getting married at Brookdale Farms in Eureka, MO! Our ceremony will be outside with beautiful rolling hills behind us as we finally become one. We will celebrate our marriage with dinner inside the barn and dancing under the twinkling lights on the patio. Thank you in advance for being a part of our special day!
