Why Thursday??

Answer

Great question! Well this isn't the first wedding we have attempted. Its actually the THIRD! When we knew COVID would make our Iceland wedding impossible, we shifted, and because of our late booking, Thursday was simply available. We promise promise promise we will never ask you to give up your precious Thursday at the office again!

How are you handling COVID-19?

Answer

We are keeping our guest count to meet state mandates (less than 50), social distancing of 6ft, and providing masks and hand sanitizer to all guests. We are also spacing out by household for the (outdoor!) ceremony, and reception(indoors). There is an area to eat or mingle outside during reception, should you feel more comfortable. Our vendors are wearing masks, gloves, and maintaining social distancing requirements. We ask that if you are feeling ill in any way that you stay home. Thank you for cooperating with us.

Who should I call if I have trouble getting to the venue?

What about the weather?

Answer

April in MN usually brings 40-70 degree weather, and potentially some snow or rain. What does this mean for you? Plan to dress in layers. If it is really raining outside, there is an indoor backup ceremony room within the venue, we won't just make you stand outside. However, if it is just a little chilly, or snowy, we will move forward with the outdoor space since the ceremony is fairly short. I suggest feeling out the weather day of, and storing a coat in the car as backup. There are heaters on the patio, as well as a fire pit to keep you warm after. The reception is mostly inside.

Where can I park?

Answer

There is a free paved parking lot right at the venue! No crazy walking required. ALSO- there are handicap spaces, and an elevator within the building.

Are the ceremony and reception space far from each other?

Answer

No! They are at the same venue, within a few feet of each other.

Who is officiating the wedding?

Answer

Pastor Rob Smith from Spirit of Life Church will be officiating the wedding. Rob has been the Pastor at SOL since Cassie was in High School and he has been a positive influence on her life ever since. Nick and Cassie cannot wait for him to lead their ceremony.
