Shopping in Blowing Rock
Blowing Rock is full of some amazing shopping! Taylor's favorites include Monkee's, The Stable, and Bee & The Boxwood while Robert enjoys Speckled Trout Outfitters, The Spice and Tea Exchange, and Grounded Works Custom Leathers. If you find yourself looking for some local Blowing Rock souvenirs, make sure to stop by Oliver's on Main.
Restaurants
There are so many good restaurants to try! Some of Taylor and Robert's favorites are Speckled Trout, Cafe Violette, Dangerfields, Town Tavern, Storie Street Grille, Bistro Roca (operating out of Hellbender's while under construction), Gideon Ridge, and Gamekeepers.
Go Hiking
If you're looking for a scenic adventure while you're in town, there are plenty of options in and around Blowing Rock. If you have the time, we recommend hiking Grandfather Mountain, taking a quick walk down the Glen Burney Trail for some incredible waterfalls, and stopping over at The Blowing Rock to check out "North Carolina's oldest travel attraction."
Bars & Wineries
Blowing Rock Brewing Company, Six Pence Pub, Sidecar, and The Town Tavern are all great spots in town to enjoy some good music and a cold beverage. Looking for something a little more quiet and relaxing? Head over to Banner Elk Winery for a tasting and tour of the most acclaimed winery in North Carolina's High Country.
