Home to Zech's favorite Old Fashioned in KC! Jacob Rieger & Company was founded in 1887 in Kansas City’s West Bottoms Livestock Exchange district. The brand offered over 100 alcoholic products and took pride in maintaining a quarter of a million unique customers by offering mail-order delivery services. In 1919, Prohibition was enacted by the federal government and wasn’t reversed until 1933. J. Rieger & Co. was a casualty at the time, but was not destined to be lost forever.
Yard House
Most of our date nights end up being at Yard House - we can't resist their cheese curds and beer selection (Zech's favorite is the Silly Stupid Sour).
Brookside Barrio
Our favorite mexican restaurant in KC! Double date nights with our friends Morgan and Ryan often happen here.
River Market & West Bottoms
The first weekend of the month you can find us at the West Bottoms shopping for antiques and hitting up the River Market for fresh flowers and produce.
Power and Light District
From Hot Country Nights concerts to a spur of the moment weekend good time, our favorite place to go out is KC P&L! Make sure to line dance at PBR and grab a huge slice of pizza at Pizza Bar on your way out.
Corner Cafe Riverside
Our favorite place to grab breakfast! They're cinnamon rolls are amazing - just ask Cassidy's Mom!
