Pearl Street Mall
The Pearl Street Mall is famous for its shopping, restaurants, and live performers. This is a great area to explore during downtime, grab a drink, or do some shopping. Check out Cassidy's favorite spot, the Boulder Bookstore!
Rosetta Hall
Rosetta Hall is a great spot for lunch or a cocktail! They are a food hall offering an array of culinary options as well as coffee and a full bar. Head upstairs to the rooftop for gorgeous views of the Flat Irons!
Boulder Farmer's Market
Saturdays from 8am to 2pm, going to the farmer's market is our favorite way to spend the morning! Stocked entirely by Colorado producers and local businesses, this is a great way to get to know Colorado.
Boxcar Coffee
Sam's favorite coffee shop in Boulder, Boxcar offers great coffee, pastries, breakfast, and sandwiches.
Chautauqua Park
Chautauqua Park is located 1.5 miles from downtown Boulder, at the base of the Rocky Mountain foothills. The park offers scenic views of the Flat Irons, picnic tables, and trails galore.
Boulder Dushanbe Tea House
The Boulder Teahouse is a local favorite for brunch, lunch, or afternoon tea. Reservations required.
Estes Park
Estes Park is a gorgeous one-hour drive from Downtown Boulder and has so much to offer, including an entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, the famous Stanley Hotel of "The Shining," and a cute mountain town feel on the main drag. Watch out for elk that like to wander the streets and make reservations for the national park or tours of the Stanley Hotel in advance!
Brewery Hop
For our beer lovers, stop by some famous breweries located right here in Colorado, many of which have sister locations in Cassidy's hometown, Asheville. For something close by, start with Oskar Blues in Longmont. If you're looking to venture further out, move on to Odell Brewing and New Belgium in the cute town of Fort Collins. And lastly stop by our local favorites, New Terrain and, of course, Coors Brewing in Golden. Reservations are required for Coors Brewing tours!
