Please see our Registry section! We truly do not need many material items, but if you would like to make a contribution to our honeymoon fund, we would be so grateful!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We encourage cocktail style attire and comfortable footwear. The ceremony will be outside (weather permitting), standing only and keep in mind the streets of Old Town are historic brick and uneven in places. We have hired a photographer for during and after the ceremony and would love getting pictures taken with all of our guests!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The nearest parking garage to the Courthouse is off of S. Pitt Street in Old Town. In/around the courthouse there is street parking first come first served and other nearby parking garages with hourly/daily rates. You can also take the Metro in to the King Street/Old Town Alexandria station and walk ~0.5-0.75 miles from the Metro stop to the Courthouse. Uber/Lyft drivers are also in abundance.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be held at 1:00pm outside of the Old Alexandria Courthouse. We recommend arriving no later than 15 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow you time to park and walk to the courthouse.
