Around six years ago, a cocky freshman met a shy but sweet 8th grader in a class called "Introduction to Law." As the year continued, the cocky freshman proceeded to tease, embarrass, and, most importantly, defeat the 8th grader in all things law (even made her so frustrated that she cried once). I know, sounds like a perfect love story, right? Fast forward a year, and this, now a year older, cocky sophomore was assigned a new locker at school, one that just happened to be right next to this, now a year older, less shy but more sweet freshman girl. As they talked inbetween each passing period, the cocky sophomore was all in, head over heels, for a wonderfully funny and kind girl. The late night talks, the planning out conversations before each passing period, and the cans of Axe bought to try and woo the girl went on for six months. Then came the Valentine's Day dance, February 15th, 2013. It was at this dance, that the now not nearly as cocky sophomore, worked up the courage to finally ask the girl out. Ok, that's a lie. It was at this dance, while the two were awkwardly shuffling to the song "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri, the not so shy freshman girl told the boy that he would now be asking her out and they would be dating from that point on. How was the boy to argue? Three months pass to their very first prom together. While awkwardly shuffling to the song "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri, the young couple would share their first kiss (The boy takes things slow, ok?), and the girl told the boy that she had a feeling that they would be together for a long time. Here we are. A lifetime later (5 years from ages 14-19= lifetime), and the now young man finally worked up the courage to finally propose to the young woman that he loves. We would love nothing more than for you to join us on our big day, as we celebrate the commitment that we will be making to one another to stay with each other for more than a long time, but a lifetime.
