One of our favorite places to meet in Buffalo. Many a coffee date and book club discussion have happened here.
Minnesota is about as far north of the border as you can get, but we've still got some tasty Mexican food!
City park next to downtown with a nice walkway along Buffalo Lake.
Buffalo has many occasional boutiques in and around downtown. Check out A Wreath of Franklin, The PORCH and Atelier, Modern Roots, and others.
Park featuring a variety of flower gardens, trails, fountains, and a labyrinth
A family favorite for pizzas in Plymouth.
Pedestrian bridge over the Mississippi River with additional walking paths on both sides. Also check out the view from the Endless Bridge and Amber Box at nearby Guthrie Theater.
Visit the sculpture garden to see the iconic giant cherry on a spoon, a big blue rooster, and more.
A hip part of town (we live here!), with a large variety of restaurants and shops. Favorite eateries include Hammer & Sickle, Nico's Taco Bar, Kiku Bistro, and Pizza Lucé
A special shout-out to Hammer & Sickle, a happy hour favorite. Order some pierogis and a horseradish vodka shot (or a couple Moscow mules)
Take a walk around Bde Maka Ska (the lake formerly known as Calhoun), or the others in the Minneapolis Chain of Lakes--Lake of the Isles and Lake Harriet. Located close to Uptown, it's a favorite walking and bicycling spot of ours.
Large, free-admission art museum. Their period rooms are Cassidy's favorite.
Major local brewery with dozens of beers on tap in their beer hall, along with a full food menu.
The largest mall in the US by total floor space. Not a bad place to stop if you forgot your luggage on the plane--remember, there's no sales tax on clothing in Minnesota
