FAQs

If you should have any other questions than the ones we have listed here, please reach out to Cassidy at (318) 331-2177.
Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

We’ve provided a QR code in the invitation that links directly to the RSVP page. We know that sometimes mailed RSVPs can get lost, and we would hate to mistakenly mark you and your party as "not attending" if you plan to join us. The online RSVP is quick and easy to access, and it will keep a record of your response.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We would like everyone to RSVP by February 1st, 2025. If you do not RSVP by that date, you will be marked as "not attending." We would love to celebrate with you, however we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVPs. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we accommodate all guests comfortably within the venue's capacity, we ask that only invited guests attend our wedding. You'll find the details about your party size, including whether it includes a plus one, on your invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We’ve decided that those of you who are invited are special to us, and we’re happy to have children at our wedding. However, since many of you may not have young children, the invitations will be personalized and will list the names of the children who are invited.

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is "church attire." We kindly ask that men wear a collared shirt or long-sleeved button-up, paired with neat, clean jeans or trousers. Women should opt for a floor-length or tea-length evening gown. Please note, the ceremony will be held outdoors, while the reception will take place indoors, with a balcony available during the cocktail hour. For ladies concerned about heels, rest assured there will be no grass. The forecasted temperature is a high of 70°F and a low of 44°F, so please dress accordingly for cooler weather.

Question

Is there transportation to the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided. We’ve been informed that most guests will be staying at various hotels or locations, so there won't be a central pick-up point. However, we want to let everyone know that Uber, Lyft, and taxis are available for those who need them. The reception will be held at the same location as the ceremony, so no transportation will be necessary.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at The Cabin between 6:00 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. to ensure plenty of time for parking and getting seated before the ceremony starts at 6:30 p.m. If you're traveling on the day of the event, please remember to account for the time zone difference.

Question

Is there parking at the ceremony location?

Answer

Yes, there is ample parking at The Cabin. Since it’s located on a dead-end street, additional street parking will also be available.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that everyone be considerate when taking photos. Please avoid standing during the ceremony or blocking the view of those seated behind you. While this will not be an "unplugged ceremony," we ask that you respect the wedding party and other guests while capturing the moments. Additionally, please remember that the photographer’s role is to capture the unique moments of the day. We ask that her work be respected. If she needs to ask someone to move for a better shot, it’s not out of rudeness, but simply part of her job. We want her to do her best, so please allow her to work without interruptions. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

What do I do during the break between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Once the ceremony concludes, the photographer will begin capturing photos of the wedding party. During this time, we invite everyone to head to the reception area to sign our guestbook and enjoy a drink on us. We have a few other fun activities and items for guests to sign while the photographer works.

Question

Should we bring a gift or money?

Answer

Kaleb and I truly appreciate each and every one of you, and we don’t expect anything in return for our wedding. We will have a card table where you can leave your heartfelt messages, which we’ll cherish forever. If you'd like to contribute, we’ll also have a honeymoon fund jar at the reception. Additionally, our wedding website includes our registry. Any gifts chosen from the list will be sent to the bridal shower location, scheduled for March 9th, 2025.

Question

Are you registered?

Answer

You can find our registry details in the "Registry" section of our website. We are registered at Pottery Barn, Dillard's, Arnett's Jewelry, Amazon, and Walmart. Whether you prefer to order online or pick up in-store, we’ve made the process as easy as possible. Please remember, gifts are not required or expected—your presence at our wedding and in our lives means more to us than anything.
