The sooner the better, but please RSVP no later than Friday March 14th!
We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up with us! We are requesting a formal dress code/black tie optional for our wedding day. Here are some wedding guest looks for inspiration for our welcome party event on July 7th, and for our wedding on July 8th. 1. You will need a valid passport that is not expiring within 6-months of your trip! 2. Converter & Adapter for charging needs and hair tools. Many of the hair-tools we are used to in the US due to voltage. You can purchase converters, adapters, and internationally approved hair-tools easily online. 3.
Upon arrival taking a private transfer will be the easiest way to get to Ravello. Once you are in Ravello, walking is the main source of transportation. There are beautiful alleyways, gardens, buildings & sights that are best (and only) enjoyed by foot.
Please make sure that your hotel/AirBnB is actually in the city of Ravello. Many accommodations will state they are "in Ravello" or "a very small distance from Ravello" but are not actually in the city; Ravello is located at the top of a mountain, so if you are not in the city itself it will be very challenging to get to/from over the course of a few days.
Please follow the link, https://docs.google.com/document/d/1KOFBKnszXG1h3RQpTE9JhTJgaEuG21Wpat1Ho_Ll-b8/edit?usp=sharing to find Cassidy and Jonathan's recommendations for Rome, Ravello, Salerno, etc with anecdotes of their experiences! Happy planning!!
Pack light as lugging around a large suitcase will be less than ideal. Be sure to pack comfortable shoes, and make sure that your dress shoes can tolerate some walking. Ravello is a beautiful old city that features cobblestone and uneven pavement and stairs.
We have addressed the invitations to the people who we would love to come. If you have received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP.
The Amalfi Coast is known for its beautiful coastline views of the Salerno Gulf. The roads to get to Ravello however, wind and are extremely narrow. Additionally, there is very limited parking in Ravello, so we recommend leaving the driving to the Italians.
