There's a reason we chose a venue in La Jolla; it's beautiful, charming, and fun for everyone. La Jolla Cove is a a prime spot for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, and observing sea lions and seals in a natural setting. We recommend shopping for souvenirs at The Cave Store and taking the tour down to the sea cave.
Balboa Park is where we took our engagement photos! It is home to museums, gardens, architecture, and a variety of cultural attractions. It's a large urban park with numerous museums, gardens, trails, theaters, and the world-famous San Diego Zoo.
Our favorite neighborhood! There are so many good food options on and near India Street. We recommend Kyoto Coast Matcha and Coco Mayas for drinks and brunch, and Born & Raised and Starlite for dinner. Make some reservations before you come into town! Day to Day Collective is a vintage clothing store with vintage photobooths for some added fun.
We love the North Park neighborhood! A vibrant, walkable, and eclectic urban environment with a wide variety of restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, and boutiques. Perfect place for breakfast or lunch if you also plan on going to Balboa Park. We love Holy Matcha (added points for their photobooth) and Nomad Donuts for breakfast and bagels.
Take the ferry from downtown San Diego for scenic skyline views! Coronado beach is a personal favorite of ours. Coronado Island offers beautiful beaches iconic sights like the historic Hotel del Coronado, and downtown exploring on Orange Avenue for shopping and dining, plus scenic bike rides, waterfront parks, the Coronado Ferry Landing for views and shops, and cultural spots like the Lamb's Players Theatre.
A beautiful and easy scenic place to walk surrounded by rugged cliffs and beautiful ocean views. Especially beautiful during sunset!
