For the simple folk...walking distance from the hotels, this is the perfect neighborhood to wander into some shops, enjoy the water view, and grab a bite to eat. If you're feeling boujee, Thames Street Oyster House is iconic for local seafood. For a casual vibe go to The Twist or Slainte Irish Pub. We definitely recommend hopping onto the water taxi and enjoying a loop around the harbor. The city view is splendid from a boat.
For the artsy folk...explore Hampden. This quaint, eclectic part of town has amazing coffee, bites, and boutiques/antique shops. For coffee, Artifact is a MUST. For pastries try Maillard or Harmony Bakery. For dinner in Hampden, you really can't go wrong with any choice.
For the sportsy folk...visit Camden Yards, home of the Orioles! The weekend of our wedding the Yankees will be in town. Enjoy a Friday or Sunday baseball game, make sure to stop at Pickles Pub beforehand, and make it the quintessential Baltimore weekend.
For the history buff...explore our very own neighborhood! This address will take you to the well known Federal Hill Park which hosts one of the very best views of the city (besides our rooftop). We also got engaged here! Grab at bite at The Outpost or Riverside Taphouse. It's also worth taking a drive over to Fort McHenry National Monument. We walk Honey here quite often. The grounds are free to visit, or you can purchase a ticket for the entire museum and access Fort buildings.
Need dinner? Our VERY favorite restaurant. Clavel has the best tacos & vibes in the entire city! They don't take reservations, so if you are on a wait head over to W.C. Harlan one block away for a pre-dinner cocktail. The cocktail bar is very mysterious, you've been warned!
We're getting married here...visit the museum earlier in the day if you'd like, it's lovely! Please note the museum is open until 5pm on Saturday, and our wedding does not begin until 6pm.
