Some recommendations on airports for those flying in and guest lodging for the weekend

Key West International Airport (EYW)
EYW will bring you directly into Key West however you will more than likely have a connecting flight.

Miami International Airport (MIA)
MIA is the next closest major airport and is about a 3 hour drive to Key West. Long drive but gives you the opportunity to make some fun pit stops (joining the "muffin club" at Harriette's in Key Largo or feeding the tarpon at Robbie's in Islamorada). There are also shuttles to and from the airport that can be booked for those that do not want to rent a car.
