On June 22, 2023, Trey took Cassi on a scavenger hunt through Wheeling, WV. Sweet notes, gifts, and photos at each spot. As they arrived at the final destination, a beautiful private picnic was set up with snacks. As they picked at their charcuterie board and sipped on their lavender lemonades, Trey reached in his pocket and got down on one knee, starting their next chapter.

After Trey proposed, he accepted an amazing job opportunity that required him to live out of town for the next 6 months. In just a little over a week, he was in Virginia while Cassi stayed working in West Virginia. With conflicting schedules and distance putting a damper on celebrating being newly engaged, they did not find a lot of time to plan things the way they had hoped. However, with Trey now being home, they will be having a “Couple’s Shower” to celebrate with their closest family and friends before they elope!
