If you are coming from Bismarck, take Interstate I94 heading east. Then take Exit 176. Head south for 7 miles. Turn East on 62nd Ave. Head East for 1 mile and Black Leg Ranch will be on the left. A parking attendant will be present to help guide you where to park.
We will not be providing a shuttle bus. We apologize for any inconvenience. Uber and Lyft does service the ranch so we recommend planning for one of those if you need a ride to and from the venue. Please plan accordingly in order to make sure you are on time for the ceremony. We also recommend car pooling. We will have people available to give rides back to Bismarck at the end of the night. Vehicles can be left at the venue if needed, but will need to be picked up by 11 AM on Sunday. Please be safe and do not drink and drive.
Please do NOT use your phones to take photos at the wedding ceremony. Let the photographer do their job :) Feel free to snap away at the reception!
The ceremony location is planned to be outdoors unless the weather does not allow for it. The reception and dance will take place indoors. The barn/reception hall will be air conditioned.
No outside alcohol is allowed at the venue. Black Leg Ranch will be hosting the bar for you to purchase drinks at the reception.
Wear whatever you are comfortable in for an outdoor rustic ranch wedding. Ladies just remember, the venue is an actual ranch. If you wear stilettos and the ground is soft, your heels might be sinking into the grass ;)
Food will be a buffet style with prime rib sandwiches, salads and potatoes.
The dance will end at midnight.
Yes! There will be an ATM onsite. There is also an arcade room at the reception for the kids (and adults too) with a cash coin machine.
