Their story began long before they ever imagined a wedding day, during a bumper boat ride at a high school district physics day at Castles and Coasters. Cassaundra thought Isai looked familiar, and it turned out they were both part of the same college prep program. Just like that, Isai planned his first romantic gesture—bringing Cassaundra chocolates to the next college prep meeting and asking her on their first official date. College took them in different directions—Cassaundra to Arizona State University and Isai to Trinity College in Connecticut. What followed were years of long distance across time zones, countless FaceTime calls, and growing up side by side from afar. After graduation, Isai returned to Arizona, where they quickly became inseparable. They moved into their first apartment in 2022, welcomed Munch, their sweet tuxedo cat (and later, Maisy), and built a life filled with love and laughter. Just weeks after Cassaundra finished graduate school, what was meant to be a celebratory dinner for her new job turned into a surprise proposal—surrounded by family, tears of happiness, and an overwhelming sense of love. They bought their first home in spring 2025, and in February 2026, they get to say “I do.”
