We met on the campus of Kennesaw State University and remained friends for many years. After earning our Bachelor's degrees in 2015, life took us in completely different paths and we actually lost contact for 4 whole years. We reconnected last year and we've by each others side ever since. Never in a million years did we imagine that we'd ever be together but God had others plans.

In June of 2021 we received the greatest news imaginable, we were expecting a baby! We were so overjoyed with this unexpected blessing that we wanted to share the news with the entire world. So we packed our bags and took a nice trip to the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah for a pregnancy announcement video shoot. The scenery was breathtaking and we felt as though we were in another world. It was just us and the photographer, a truly intimate experience. After an hour and a half into the shoot, I looked over mid-pose and he was down on one knee. In complete and utter shock, I said "YES," and we were engaged. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Decatur!
