Bride
I am the Bride to be and a proud mama to a wonderful little girl, Harley. I enjoy hunting, fishing, shooting my bow and guns, riding horses, and anything that involves being outside. Line dancing to country music is also something I enjoy! My favorite memory with Tyler is the night he proposed to me. I still to this day do not know how he kept it a secret from me considering we have such a hard time keeping secrets from each other. Especially when it comes to presents. Tyler originally told me that we were going to go have dinner with his mom. Then plans changed and we were going to have dinner at Big Red Keno in Norfolk with some old friends. Tyler hardly ate dinner that night, which, if you know Tyler, he is always hungry. After dinner we all went down to a special place that Tyler and I call "Our Spot". It is a giant hill that overlooks Norfolk and at night you can see all of the city lights. We were taking cute pictures. I started to walk back to the pickup. I turned around to check and see if Tyler was coming with me. He was down on one knee. It took me a second to understand what was going on because I had baby brain really bad!
Groom
I am the Groom to be and proud dad to a wild little girl, Harley. I enjoy riding dirt bikes and motorcycles, racing, playing X-Box, Bass fishing, playing disc golf, and just hanging out with my guy friends. I also enjoy smoking food. My friends and I were celebrating the life of Chris Ober, who went to join the Lord too soon when I met Casi. I was too shy to talk to her that night but gathered the courage to message her on Facebook a month later. My favorite memory with Casi is the day I asked her to marry me. I had it all planned out. I was so nervous but also so excited to ask my best friend to spend the rest of her life with me. Casi was having a blast on the drive to Norfolk. She was dancing and singing to songs in the pickup! We went to eat at Big Red Keno in Norfolk. I took her to eat at Big Red Keno in Fremont for our first date so I thought it would be romantic. I love food but I could not eat my food that night! I was very anxious and could not sit still. We went to "OUR SPOT" to take pictures! When she began walking back to the pickup I got down on one knee and pulled the ring out! She turned around and started crying! I was so scared that she was going to say "No". She obviously said "YES". It was the best weekend!
Maid of Honor
Andi and I met my freshman year of college at Midland University. We were both on the cheer team! We have shared many drunken nights together as well random road trips, nail appointments, shopping trips, street dances, fairs, and sleep overs. Andi has been there for me through some very hard times. Jacob too. We have had many coffee dates at Scooters. Andi has calmed me down through many many mental break downs. She is always there when I just need to rant about something and offers her wisdom! There have been a few times of us going to Hobby Lobby and spending waaaayyyyy to much money on stuff and promising to keep it secret from our men. My favorite memory with Andi is attempting to blow up a 10 ft unicorn with our mouths as we did not have an air pump while we were at the lakes. 2 hours later, we gave up. A few days later we got air pumps and finally got her giant unicorn into the water! That summer we spent a lot of time in the giant unicorn boat floating on the water.
Best Man
Sean and I met the night my house burnt down. I was so hurt and mad about losing everything that I decided to go to a party. I had too much to drink and ended up passing out on the front steps of the house where the party was. Out of all of the people at the party, Sean was the one who took me inside and got me to the couch. Sean was a big role in helping me restart my life and has helped me get to where I am today. It has been awesome seeing him grow as a person and as a dad. My favorite memory with Sean is the night Casi and I were on our first date by ourselves. Sean and I decided to race down a backstreet in Norfolk. I launched my 06 Duramax so hard that when Casi was recording it on her phone, the phone actually flew back and hit her in the face. A little while after that Sean had called and said he had gotten into some trouble with Campus Police for speeding. It was a very eventful night to say the least. I was honestly worried that Casi might have thought we were too crazy and that she would have headed for the hills but, here we are.
Bridesmaid
Dani and I met our freshmen year in high school. We became best friends and were joined at the hip. We were so inseparable that we were called twins. We went almost every where together and did almost everything together, from picking our prom dresses, dying our hair, getting ready before all school events, and even wearing each others clothes. We spent so much time cruising around, listening to music, and shopping for clothes. I was Batman and Dani was Robin. We did our senior pictures together. Dani had to be the one to call my mom to tell her that I was being life lighted to Omaha after being in a roll over car accident. The amount of times we would just crawl into each others beds to watch movies and eat so many snacks like best friends do is unreal. We still occasionally get together and watch movies and eat snacks. We have learned that we do have to read labels on breadsticks otherwise we put plastic containers in the oven and melt them. Dani taught me that ranch with pizza actually does taste good. My favorite memory with Dani is when we were driving around, eating pizza in my moms old Mustang. Dani was freaking out because there was a GIANT bumble bee in the car. I crashed into the curb. I still don't think my mom knows till this day. We are now enjoying life as moms to our beautiful children.
Groomsman
Jacob and I met through Casi. Jacob is Andi's husband. Jacob was needing someone to help him build a privacy fence for his and Andi's new house. Casi thought it would be a great way for me and Jacob to get to know each other. We have talked quite a bit especially because the woman are very close. Jacob has given me a lot of disks which has helped to build my collection. We have gone to play disk golf together quite a few times and have stayed up late gaming against each other. Jacob is always encouraging and willing to teach me better form when I play disk golf. My favorite memory with Jacob is when Casi and I got to go with Jacob and Andi to Kansas for a Disk Golf Tournament. We went out to eat, played pop darts, and snacked... a lot. Jacob showed me which disks are good to have and worth paying for. It was awesome getting to play against Jacob for practice and cool to see him compete in the tournament. Jacob lost his phone on the farm where the tournament took place. We searched, and searched, and searched for it. About an hour later, Brandon asked Jacob if he had checked on top of the Jeep. He found it. We may have lost some disks in the water and Jacob may have gotten out of the water with a few leaches on his legs but it was a great time!
Bridesmaid
From fishing, swimming, gym time, mudding, car hide and seek, hanging out in the Family Fair parking lot, and many drunken nights we always manage to have a great time. Amanda and I became friends my sophomore year of college when we were at the State Lakes with mutual friends. Amanda has called me Mom since day 1. She is the youngest of my friends. Amanda and I enjoy going to the gym together and pushing each other then there are other times where we go and just talk more than we work out, Amanda also has tried teaching me how to drift my car in the snow. Long walks and talking for hours, getting ready together before each fair, street dance, derby, and rodeo. Amanda was even with me a few times when I got called away on rescue calls and waited for me to get back. So many nights cruising in Omaha just because we could and line dancing till our feet hurt at Pla Mor, and going horseback riding numerous times. My favorite memory with Amanda is when we decided to have a girls day and go fishing on the River in Blair. I caught a fish and it was putting up a fight. We saw it jump out of the water a few times while I was reeling it in. I was screaming to Amanda, "IT'S A SHARK!!!!" We were both too scared to touch it without gloves because we had no idea what it was! Come to find out it was a sturgeon.
Groomsman
Jacob has the nick name, Bobble. Bobble and I met in the parking lot where the old Raising Caine's use to be in Norfolk. Any time there was a truck meet in town, you could find us there. We use to race and cruise around Norfolk all the time. Maybe occasionally do a few burnouts for no reason. We were always detailing our vehicles together. We also like to shoot guns and play disk golf at the courses in Norfolk with a couple of our buddies. We have consumed too much alcohol together and done some wild things like throwing ping pong balls at each others backs. I am not really sure why Bobble has the nickname Bobble but it could be because he is always on crutches for an injury. Casi didn't know his name for the longest time. She only knew him as Bobble "The guy on crutches". My favorite memory with Bobble is the time we were driving around Norfolk and there were 2 teen age kids that were flipping us off while we were driving and trying to start beef. Those two teenage kids had said to meet them down town. I looked at Bobble and said, "dude you are on crutches". Bobble looked back and said, "I don't care, I will beat them with my sticks." They never ended up meeting us down town.
Bridesmaid
I got the opportunity to meet Bri when she began dating my brother, Joseph. It has been such a blessing to see how much she has grown into such a wonderful woman and an amazing mom. I started to get closer with Bri when I gave birth to Harley. Bri was outside of the hospital with my mom and little brother holding up posters as the hospital was not allowing any guests due to COVID-19. 8 weeks later Bri started watching Harley full time while I started a new job. Bri has become a second mom to Harley and has treated her as her own. I have gotten to watch Bri grow and become a mom to my nephew Ronin. Bri has a heart of gold and is the sweetest girl I know. Times of hanging out in the hot tub, drive in movie theaters, to Cosco trips with Mom, newborn photo shoots with Harley, and hours upon hours of long talks. I was so excited to know that Joe was going to purpose to Bri. I was going to gain another sister. No matter what life throws at her she always has a smile. She is such a big blessing to my family. My favorite memory with Bri is when I was giving Harley a bath in my moms bathroom sink. This is when Harley was only a couple weeks old. Bri was standing in the door way and we were just talking and Harley pooped in my hand.. This happened twice. Not once. TWICE. Bri witnessed both incidents. Bri just died of laughter.
Groomsman
Riley and I met when I first moved to Peirce and I started school in the 7th grade I believe. We have known each other for what feels like forever. Riley is that friend of mine who I do not always get to see because he is a truck driver but, when we are able to hang out or talk on the phone we can talk for hours. Riley and I have always just enjoyed hanging out with each other and talking about life. We have had some great memories mudding, four wheeling, coon-hunting, and riding dirt bikes. A majority of the memories that I have with Riley are of us doing dumb stuff that we probably should not have been doing at our age. Maybe just dumb stuff in general but we can say that our memories of each other were never dull and boring. It is great seeing Riley grow as a person and as a dad. I am proud of how far he has come and how hard he works. My favorite memory with Riley is the time that we went to ride dirt bikes and Riley had an old 1960 something dirt bike. The bike looked like it was falling apart and looked like it wouldn't even run. Riley did not care one bit. He absolutely loved that bike.
Bridesmaid
Lindsay is my youngest sister. I can say I have known her her whole life. Lindsay and I didn't always see eye to eye growing up as sisters. To me she was the little annoying sister who wanted to be just like me. In fact my brothers and I use to pick on Lindsay all the time saying she was adopted because she was the youngest sibling on my dad's side. We also use to cover the sensor on the TV to tell Lindsay the TV was broken so we didn't have to watch little kid cartoons. As Lindsay started to get a little older we started to do more things together like playing on the swing set, playing with the neighbor kids, playing house, and riding our bikes all over town. I use to do her hair and make up just so we could take pictures on the farm. We grew up singing together. Our favorite song to sing is Wide Open Spaced by Dixie Chicks. We did duets together in elementary school for Talent Shows. She is a great aunt to my daughter and a wonderful sister. My favorite memory with Lindsay is when we were celebrating Harley's first Birthday. After everyone had left, Mom and I decided to have a smash cake photo shoot for Harley. Harley got so mad about cake being on her hands that she accidently stuck her foot in the cake. She was screaming and took off crawling and got cake all over my wood floors and area rugs. We were all laughing because it cute. Lindsay helped clean my area rug!
Groomsman
I met Ben in the hospital just after he was born. Ben is my little brother. Growing up, I am sure we were pains in the rear for our mom. We both enjoy hunting, fishing, riding dirt bikes, throwing disks, shooting guns, and well just about anything that we get to do together now. Ben is growing up so fast and I cannot believe he is going to be sixteen soon. He is a very athletic young man. Any time I am at my mom's Ben and I wrestle around the house. Some times household items or furniture get broke... Like the time I broke the couch. I am sure he will not admit it but I know he misses his big brother. We really like to pick on Aaron and drive him up the wall. Ben likes picking on Casi too. Brother like brother, we really like driving her bonkers. She loves us both though. Ben also enjoys spending time with Harley and chasing her around. My favorite memory with Ben would be all of them but the time I dropped a 6 x 6 post on his finger takes the cake. At the time it was not funny. It really was not fun explaining that to our Mom because Ben's finger was actually broken. Looking back now though it was funny.
Flower Girl
Harley, Harley, Harley... Where to begin with this little one. 18 HRS of labor. 3 HRS of pushing. From tears to laughter to hugs and kisses to temper tantrums. This little girl is my mini me to a T. Bringing her into this world was the best thing I have ever gotten to do. I am so proud of her. Getting to watch her grow into the beautiful little girl she is the most amazing gift I could ever have. Some days it is rough having a toddler as most people know but getting those hugs and kisses are what makes it all worth it. Tyler and I waited to have our wedding until Harley was old enough to be able to walk down the isle as our flower girl. My favorite memory with Harley is when I was watching Tyler give Harley a bath and Harley pooped in the bath tub and daddy was gagging while he cleaned it up. That was most funny moment I have experienced. Mommy got pooped on all of the time but it was dad's turn!
Ring Bearer
Little Mac a Roni just kidding. Little Ronin has only been with us for about 9 months now. Ronin is the son of Joseph Bautista and Bri Baker. He is also my nephew. Ronin is not a little guy for his age and he has pretty blue eyes with brown hair. He has strong legs and is a ready to start exploring. He is pulling himself up on stuff, crawling around, rolling around, and eating adult foods now. It is a joy to see how fast he is growing. It is crazy how much he resembles his daddy right now but I bet he will look more and more like his mama when he gets older. Ronin was born 3 days after Harley's first birthday and is Harley's cousin also. Harley loves giving Ronin kisses but she has not learned how to share her toys with him yet. My favorite memory with Ronin is the day I got to hold him. Bri and Ronin were still in the hospital. He was only about a day old. He had so much hair for just being born but he was such a little handsome guy.
