What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive by 3.30pm, at least 30 minutes before the ceremony starts to secure your spot. Once the ceremony begins, the gate will be closed for late arrivals.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we adore your little ones, our wedding will be an adult-only event. We kindly ask that you make arrangements for them to stay at home. This is your chance to relax, enjoy, and let loose—the drinks are on us! We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Due to venue limitations and to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, we are unable to accommodate additional guests. Only the guest formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accomodated. We appreciate your understanding.

Will there be drinks provided?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us, and the hangover... well, that's all yours! There are plenty of transport options available, so we encourage you to take full advantage of them and enjoy the bar without a worry. We want all our loved ones to have a great time and, most importantly, to make it home safe after dancing the night away with us! HOT TIP! We suggest you pre-book taxis via Southern Highlands Taxis (02 4872 4800). This ensures they'll be there for you as we wrap up the party.

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking at the Book Barn. Just drive down the long driveway, pass the restaurant, and you’ll find the parking lot there.

Can we take photos?

Answer

Our ceremony will be an unplugged event, so we kindly ask that you refrain from using your phone or taking photos during the ceremony. Don’t worry - there will be plenty of chances to take photos at other times, and we’ll ensure you have the opportunity to do so! We will have professional photographers and videographers capturing all the special moments, so you can relax and enjoy the day without any distractions.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, we’re excited to offer the best of both worlds! Our ceremony and sunset drinks will take place outdoors in the beautiful lakeside gardens. Afterwards, we’ll move indoors for pre-dinner drinks and the reception. Feel free to enjoy the veranda if you’d like some fresh air during the reception. Don't worry, everything is in walking distance so you won't need to get behind the wheel between venues!

Is there a dress code?

Please join us in dressing to impress - our wedding is cocktail attire, so please get stylish and sophisticated. We’re excited to see you looking your best as we celebrate this special day together!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than January 3, 2025. If you do not RSVP in time, we will assume that you are unable to attend.
