When do I need to book my room through the room block by?

Answer

To get the best rate at our resort through our room block, you will need to book your room no later than September 1st! Initially booking your room only requires a small deposit. Full payment of the room isn’t due till around September/November. More details are located during payment/reservation.

No, only individuals who are 18+ years old can stay at this Resort. We appreciate your understanding.

Can I remove the resorts wristband for the wedding?

Answer

No, the property requires you to keep the wristbands on at ALL times. Taking it off will have you escorted off the property.

Do I need to bring an outlet adapter to plug in my devices?

No, this resort and most of Mexico uses USA type plugs/outlets and USB.

What does “All Inclusive” mean at the resort?

Answer

Hyatt Vivid is an all inclusive resort which means ALL food and drinks (Alcohol, Soda, Hot Coco, Coffee, Smoothies, & Tea) are included with your stay with some minor exceptions to very high quality meats, seafood, fresh coconut water in a coconut, or top shelf alcohol. Being all Inclusive this also includes free: room service, the in-room mini bar, and beach/pool towels everyday.

What is the Name of the Resort?

This resort is now called the Hyatt Vivid Playa del Carmen. This is a new and recent change from this past June 2025. It used to be called the Hilton Playa del Carmen, but has since been bought out by Hyatt.

Where can I purchase Sunscreen?

Answer

The best place to purchase sunscreen are at any of the pharmacies right outside the resorts property. Buying sunscreen at the resort shop is double the price.
