What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
Answer
Black Tie Preferred for both the ceremony and reception. (Black tie highly encouraged but not required)

What is the weather like in Newport in October
Answer
Weather in New England can range this time of year. It could rain, it could be sunny, mild, cold, ect. However, the average temperatures are sunny around 50-60 degrees during the day and in the 40's at night.

Will the reception be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The reception and cocktail hour will both take place at the Rosecliff Mansion. However, cocktail hour will be on the patio (heat lamps provided if necessary) and the reception will be inside.

Will alcohol be provided?
Answer
There is an open bar providing wine, beer, liquor, and other soft beverages

Will transportation to the Ceremony/Reception be provided?
Answer
There will be no transportation provided. Everything in Newport is either a 10-15 min drive/uber or walking distance.

Where should guests park?
Answer
If you decide to provide your own transportation. Ceremony: There is church lot parking on Central Street behind the church. Reception: There is lot parking next to the Rosecliff

Are kids welcome?
Answer
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. (Excluding children in the wedding party) We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us

Are plus one's allowed?
Answer
The Rosecliff has very specific and intricate seating capacity and therefore our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
Answer
We have a room block rented out for our guests at The Holiday Inn with transportation to and from the wedding will be provided. However, other hotels we recommend are: The Viking, The Vanderbilt Auberge, The Chandler, Gurneys, The Marriott, The Wyndham, and the Brenton Hotels.
Question
What happens after the ceremony?
Answer
We will likely have 1-2 hours of down time in between the ceremony and the reception. However, the church is located on famous broadway street and we encourage our guests to explore during this time.
