Daniel and Cassie met on Hinge, “the dating app designed to be deleted.” Our first connection consisted of Cassie’s love for 90 day fiancé on TLC. Daniel expressed that he also liked 90 day fiancé, but he didn’t know what “liking” 90 day fiancé meant until he met Cassie. Little did she know she would become his fiancé. After talking for a few weeks, we decided it was time to meet. We planned a small coffee date on a beautiful sunny day. When Cassie arrived to the Caribou, she couldn’t find Daniel anywhere. Probably because she told him the wrong Caribou that was across the street. Who puts 2 Caribou’s across the street from each other? Finally at the same Caribou, they laughed for hours, the longest coffee date of all time. They decided they couldn’t stay away from each other and planned their second date for the next day and the rest was history.
Daniel was the first to ask Cassie to be his girlfriend. Cassie still wasn’t too sure about this and declined the offer out of fear. She soon realized that she wasn’t willing to let him go and wrote middle school note equipped with “yes,” “no,” “maybe” check boxes asking him to be her boyfriend. He checked “yes.”
On September 4th, 2021 after 2 years of dating, Daniel asked Cassie to marry him at her cabin on Lake Mille Lacs. Of course, she said “yes.”
