We suggest showing up thirty minutes before the ceremony. This should be enough time for you to find parking, and get a good seat for the ceremony.

What is the dress code for the ceremony?

We invite you to join us in casual formal attire. Think polished yet comfortable—button-down shirts, blouses, dresses, skirts, or nice slacks are perfect. Jackets and ties are welcome but not required. Our groomsmen will be wearing jeans paired with dress shirts, so feel free to embrace a stylish, relaxed look while still celebrating the occasion.

Is the ceremony/reception inside or outside?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors. Mid-September in Illinois typically brings warmer daytime temperatures, though evenings may be cooler. As Illinois weather can be unpredictable, we kindly suggest bringing a light jacket for your comfort.
