We’re Getting Married…

It all started with the cutest little lion roar you’ve ever heard…. The two of them met through mutual friends on a weekend trip Cassandra made with her then four year old son to Jacksonville to visit her best friend, Cynthia, who had recently moved there. They were going to the zoo that day and Nicholas was a lion. Theo sat down on the opposite sofa while Cassandra was trying hard to ignore him. Nick was roaring at him and he immediately engaged with the lion in the room. He commented on the magazine she was reading, a “XXL” maybe, surprised that she was interested in it. They chatted for a while and as he was leaving, asked for her number. They spoke almost everyday after that. A relationship started which eventually brought Theo to live in Atlanta. They had a blissful, but tumultuous relationship for a while. Circumstances led to a mutual breakup. Theo and Cassandra reconnected a few times through text or phone calls. Cassandra visited Jax often since her bestie moved there. They could never get together because at different points we both were in relationships. Fast forward to 15 years later….. In 2022, they reconnected one last time, both single for the first time in a while. They got to talking and through those conversations, realized they still had feelings for one another. Through the years, they both changed and matured and were willing to do the work to heal together. Through the love they have always felt, they were able to forge a newer, stronger connection. And here they are, engaged to be married and forever in love.
