Paul was working at Aldi. He had just had a long day of customers screaming at him. Cassie was looking for something ridiculous, that she knew we didn’t have. But, Paul looked anyway. Our eyes met and we held each other‘s gaze. Cassie then asked me if id like to come for memorial day. We exchange phone numbers. Then Paul said… “You wouldn’t like the things I would do to you”. Cassie said… “Try me“. Paul knew that Cassie was the one because on the first date he said, “I love you”. Cassie said... “no, thank you”! That’s how Paul knew she was the one.
Five months later… Paul went to Costco to buy the engagement ring, he couldn’t wait. Immediately after the purchase, he proposed to her in front of the grill and garage door as she was leaving for school. Cassie said, “you better not be asking me to marry you right now... you better not”! So, paul proceeded to get down on one knee in front of the grill and garage door. He said, Cassandra Smith, will you marry me”? Cassie then said, “yes, get in the car we are late!”
