Question

What Is The Dress Code?

Answer

We’re going for a garden-meets-farm feel: light, romantic, and perfect for a summer day outdoors! Think light, airy, and floral with a touch of countryside charm — we’d love for guests to embrace soft pastel tones, flowy fabrics, and natural colors that feel fresh and a little whimsical. For inspiration: Midi or tea-length dresses, flowy, floral prints, or pastel jumpsuits. Lightweight suits or dress pants with a button-down or sport coat in soft or natural colors — think dapper but relaxed. Footwear: Since we’ll be outdoors, we recommend comfortable shoes suitable for grass or dirt paths. And please know — we don’t expect anyone to buy something new. Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident within the color and style vibe. Your presence is what truly matters to us! Overall vibe: Elegant, relaxed, and garden-party chic! Dress to feel like you’ve stepped into a dreamy countryside celebration.

Question

What Time Should I Arrive?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony begins so you’ll have plenty of time to park, find your seat, and settle in before the celebration starts! The ceremony will begin right at [ceremony start time], and we’d love for everyone to be seated and ready to celebrate when the big moment begins. Arriving a little early also gives you a chance to soak in the setting!

Question

Can I Bring A Plus One?

Answer

We love that everyone wants to celebrate with us, and we truly wish we could invite all the special people in your lives! However, due to space and planning, we’re only able to accommodate plus ones for those listed on the invitation. If your invitation includes a guest’s name or says “and guest,” then you’re welcome to bring them! Otherwise, we hope you’ll still come ready to celebrate, dance, and make memories with all of our favorite people in one place. Thank you so much for understanding — it means the world to us!

Question

Are Children Invited?

Answer

We adore your little ones — they’re such an important part of our lives! However, we’ve decided to make our wedding an adult-only celebration so everyone (including parents!) can relax, celebrate, and enjoy the evening to the fullest. We hope this advance notice gives you plenty of time to plan for childcare, and we’re so grateful for your understanding!

Question

Can I Take Photos Or Videos During The Ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that our ceremony be “unplugged” — meaning no phones, cameras, or recording during the “I do’s.” We really want everyone to be present in the moment with us, not behind a screen. Don’t worry — we’ll have an amazing photographer capturing all the special moments, and we can’t wait to share those photos with you afterward! Once the ceremony wraps up, feel free to snap away and capture all the fun throughout the reception. Thank you so much for understanding and helping us keep this part of the day personal, intimate, and full of love.

Question

Is The Venue Indoor Or Outdoor?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held outdoors, surrounded by all the beauty that Maine has to offer! The reception will be a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces, so you’ll have the best of both worlds. That said, Maine weather in June can be a little unpredictable, so we recommend keeping an eye on the forecast and planning accordingly. Light layers, a wrap, or a jacket are always a good idea — just in case the evening cools down or there’s a surprise breeze. The celebration will be rain or shine!
