I’ve always been drawn to the idea of being on TV and acting. At times, I found myself daydreaming of being in movies and films. As an adult, I starred in a few local series, and it brought me great pleasure. Little did I know that my love for acting and reciting scripts would lead me to true love. One day, a friend of mine called to tell me about a film production team that had a role she thought I’d be interested in. I was excited because it had been a while since I had been part of something and was looking forward to my next project. When I arrived, I laid my eyes on my future without even knowing it. In the short film, Jimmy and I played a couple. We became very acquainted during production and eventually began dating in real life. The film never ended up airing, but our relationship went live. We argued, we fought, we broke up, and we made up. We went through trials and tribulations while getting to know each other inside and out. The thing about God and true love is that not only is it timeless, but it is also beautifully patient. It took both effort and faith for us to reach this point. They always say after the rain comes the rainbow 🌈. It wasn’t always raining, but we certainly reaped the benefits of those rainy days by sticking together and creating what is now the most precious thing we have—our family. We wouldn’t trade this for the world. Everything has been worth it thus far, including our biggest blessing, Jianni. She is our first child, and the experience has drawn us even closer as we map out her future and tread lightly with each other, knowing she is always watching. We must raise her with care and intention. Not only will we be bonded for life through marriage, but also by blood, as we begin building our legacy.
