Patrick and Cassandra were both San Diego kids who grew up in the exact same neighborhood of Rancho Bernardo, but fate didn't want them to meet until a little later on in life. They both attended Del Norte High School thirteen years ago, where they finally met freshman year. Patrick was very shy back then and sat at the lunch tables alone, until one day Cassandra was the only person who decided to walk over and sit with him. She invited him to sit with her anytime he wanted so he didn't have to be lonely. I'm not sure if Cassandra knew such a simple act of kindness would mean she would be stuck with Patrick forever, but destiny already had something in mind for both of them. They were both inseparable for the rest of their time in high school, being best friends and bugging each other constantly during their shared classes. They continued staying in each other's lives over the next decade and were always there for one another through all of the ups and downs of life. It's safe to say that they both found that falling in love with your best friend is the easiest and most fulfilling thing anyone can do. When wanting to find your life-long soul mate, it is cliche to say, but marry your best friend. From day one, they have based their entire relationship on laughter, respect, compassion, and most of all, love for one another. It's hard to find someone who understands and loves you for who you truly are, and neither one of them takes that for granted. They are always extremely excited to start the next chapter in their lives and experience a life full of memories together. At the end of the day, they will always be two high school kids who fell in love for all the right reasons.
