Cassidy and Josh first ment Anna while Cassidy was working at Boston Fish! From that moment on they were instantly friends. In the short amount of time, Anna has been in their lives - they have shared birthdays, beverages, and lots and lots of conversation! One of those conversations involved Anna expressing how sick and tired she was of being a bridesmaid, so the couple thought... why not promote her!! Anna said yes and set out to get ordained. Now they get the memories and ability to have her play a role in their big day.... and Anna doesnt have to buy yet another bridesmaid dress.. Win-win!!

Austin Ferch

Wine Ceremony

Austin will be leading the sand ceremony! He and Cassidy grew up together just blocks from each other in Cedar Rapids. He has always been like a brother to Cassidy, and when Josh asked for Cass’s hand, Cassidy knew she would need him there on their special day! Austin will be leading the Unity Ceremony and standing up and leading as a representation for our foundation and as our tribe of family and friends.

Stephanie is Cassidy’s personal attendant and will be helping the ladies and the littles get ready to make it down the isle. Steph will be ready for a drink when happy hour starts, so someone get this girl a drink!!

Peggy Layton

Peggy is Josh's personal attendant the day of the wedding and will be helping in making sure we don’t lose a man and that they all make it down the isle! Props to Peggy... and if you see her without a drink at the reception, go get her one... We all know she earned it!

Weston Burdt

Are they ginger sole(less) mates, Red headed partners in crime, or just eachothers strawberry blond other halves??? Either way when these two get together its always a good time. Holly, Weston, and Cass have always been three amigos, so it only makes sense that they are her support system on her big day!

Parker Brown

Parker and Josh met at the car lot. Though Parker is a Bears fan, Josh was able to look past this major flaw and form a friendship. Through bonding at work, they liked each other enough to watch sports and play video games with one another on the weekends. Flash forward three years and Cassidy, Josh and Parker live together and, barley, get sick of each other. They can't wait for Parker to stand next to Josh on their wedding day!

Holly and Cassidys friendship connection has been spot on since the start. She has been the little (sometimes more mature) sister that Cassidy never had. Through their years together as friends, they have gone through so much and have grown together. Holly has put up with living with Cassidy not only when they were 19 and 21 (in 2015), but then again with Josh - when Cassidy and Josh first moved in together in 2018! Their friendship has been a wild ride, so of course they are taking this ride, side by side!

Jason "For Play” and Josh hit it off over their loveable, carefree look on life. When these two are together they spend their time either joking around with each other, arguing over basketball, or just hyping each other up. Through the years, Josh looks back on special times they shared, like meeting Jason’s son, Elijah, or that one time Josh beat Jason at 2k. Josh is also so excited to be able to put his wedding day on this list.

Lexie Lovisa

All the trouble with these two started in 2001, when the Forster family made their move to Marion, Iowa. Lexie and Cassidy have always been there for each other, even when they didn’t like each other. Partners in crime is how these two began, and maintained, their friendship. From being chased by boys (or were the ones doing the chasing) at Emerson Elementary, to giving their mothers a run for their money in high school, these two have always found their way back to friendship and loyalty. They are pretty lucky to have a friendship that's going on 20 years old! (How can they be that old!!)

Nick is Joshs oldest brother. Growing up they bonded over sports, their love for the Hawkeyes, and of course hours of playing golf. When Josh asked for Cass's hand in marriage he knew he needed his brothers by his side!

Emily Akers

It all started in 7th grade when Cassidy and Emily were paired to be math buddies for the year. Little did anyone know, Emily would awaken a creative, fun loving, and uncaring what others thought side. You see, Emily is a light and she can bring happiness and fun to any situation. That being said she plays such a big role beyond being the fun one! Emily has a heart that's unmatched. She cares so deeply for animals, children, and people. Through it all, Emily is just an overall amazing women and an even better friend!

Colton is Cassidy’s younger brother. Josh and Colton met through Cassidy and hit it off. Josh enjoys spending time with Colton and his sense of humor. Colton and his girlfriend, Maisey, got to spend extra time bonding on the trip the couple took to Colorado in 2018! Josh is excited to his first and only brother-in-law and was happy to ask him to stand by him on his big day.

Lindsay Hoffman

Lindsay and Cassidy became friends in 8th grade just over the fact that they make each other laugh to the point of no return. Though times have changed and Lindsay now has a beautiful family, and Cassidy and Josh are just getting married and starting their lives together, when Cassidy and Lindsay are together it’s like no time has passed! Lindsay motivates Cassidy with the growth and power she has always had and developed over the years. This is just another step in life they can share and talk about for years to come!

Ben Peiffer

Josh is Ben's younger brother. Growing up they didn't always see eye to eye or have the same interests, but as they got older they bonded over their similar sense of humor. Josh looks up to Ben as the smartest man he knows, and no matter what Ben will always be the first person Josh turns to when he has a question! Last year Josh was honored to be in Ben's wedding as he married Monica and was blown away by their love. Both Cassidy and Josh are so excited to share their day with him in return!

Cassidy has watched Marley grow up through the years. When Josh and Cassidy started dating, Josh came along with Cass to hang out with Marley, so her mom could go out for a bit. Cass and Josh are blown away with how smart and respectful Marley is, and they love watching her grow into the grown-up she is becoming! So they wanted to have her stand next to them and share this memory for years to come!

Vina is the daughter of Holly Smith. She had a job to do before she ever made it into this world and she is here to do it! At 11 months old, she will be in the trusted hands of big brother, Marcellus, and Jason’s son, Elijah! Her jobs will include looking adorable, being the sweetest little lady, and trying not to outshine the bride!!

Marcellus will be leading the littles crew as the oldest at 2 (and 3/4) years old! He’s Holly’s son, and was quick to accept the invite when asked if him and his sister would be willing to lead the way down the isle... It didn't hurt that Cass and Josh brought some sugary bribes! His jobs include pulling his sister down the isle, getting his (juice) drank on, and making sure his mama has the cutest dance partner all night!

Elijah is Jason’s son. This little man may be the middle kid in the littles section, but don't let that fool you - he is a little leader! This little ladies man will be breaking hearts and taking names all night so ladies, watch out! His jobs include helping Marcellus get Vina down the isle, busting out all the moves on the dance floor, and cake cleanup if everyone would just turn a blind eye for a second...
