We ask that guests arrive NO LATER THAN 4:15pm to the venue as the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30. Due to the nature of the ceremony location (guests are driven to the ceremony location), late-arriving guests will be asked to wait in the cocktail area. We appreciate your understanding and your commitment to being there on time!
We have hired an AMAZING photography team that will capture the ceremony and we ask that all guests be fully present when we say "I do" (we promise it will be worth it:)). As such, we will have a STRICT NO PHONE policy during the ceremony. Once the ceremony has finished and we all transition to the cocktail hour, please feel free to capture all the photos you'd like!
Once our RSVP date has passed, our numbers with vendors and our seating arrangements will be solidified. Therefore, any RSVP not received by the due date will be counted as an absence. If you have questions regarding whether or not your RSVP has been received, please feel free to reach out to the bride and groom at any time prior to the RSVP date.
All of your guests' names will be listed on the invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP. If you have any questions about your RSVP, please contact the bride and groom prior to the RSVP due date.
We would love to see our guests in garden party attire! Bright colors, florals, and seersucker suits are just a few ideas. As it will be hot, nobody is expected to wear a jacket. Yes we do! We are registered with Zola, Amazon, and have a few Costco items sprinkled in as well. Registry items will automatically update if purchased. Separately, there will be an area to drop off any letters or gifts at the event if you prefer. Of course, gifts are neither required nor expected, but are absolutely appreciated :)
We appreciate all of the love and kind words that our guests have to give! Given the short time we will all have together, the individuals giving toasts will have been notified prior to the wedding date. There will be limited shuttle transportation between the venue and hotels. As such, if you wish to take the hotel’s shuttle, please let us know as soon as possible. Separately, as we wish for everyone to stay as safe as possible getting to and from the venue, we have arranged a voucher with Uber that guests can use for transportation. The voucher can only be used between the venue and the hotels. Instructions below: 1. In your Uber App, go to ‘Account’, press ‘Wallet’, and scroll down until you see ‘Vouchers’ 2. Add the voucher code “rGFNxjFlYIS” 3. Redeem & stay safe after the wedding!! If you have any questions, please reach out. As there will be alcohol served during this wedding, we wish for all of our guests stay safe.
Yes! There will be plenty of parking for all of our guests. From the parking lot, a wagon will bring guests to and from the ceremony location. We ask that our guests be mindful about safety if they plan to drive from the venue back to their accommodations :) You *ARE* allowed to leave your car parked overnight at the venue if you decide to use another form of transportation home!
If you are coming from outside of the Greensboro area, we have a few room blocks available near the airport and in downtown Greensboro. Under the 'Travel' tab on this website are links directly to these hotels. If you prefer to book via phone, please make sure you mention the 'Alvarino-Reinhardt Wedding' to receive our special hotel rate!
The ceremony will take place outside under some tree cover. However, being that it will be August in North Carolina, it will likely be hot regardless of shade. Please dress accordingly to weather. If you would prefer to wait in the cocktail area during the ceremony because of the heat, please let the bride and groom know.
The venue is a working farm and therefore there is a strict no-smoking policy at the ceremony location, the cocktail area, and the reception barn. If you wish to smoke, you must do so by the fire pit at the front of the venue, outside the barn. This includes e-cigarettes and vapes. Thank you for respecting our venue's policy.
