Other than the fact that Full Belly Farm is a beautiful place with incredible food and people it also means a lot to us. We started getting a weekly CSA from Full Belly early on in our courtship and took turns picking up fresh fruits and veggies from the local bike shop near the hospital. Cooking meals together has become a tradition in our home and Full Belly was with us at the beginning. We feel it is fitting to celebrate with the very food that sustained us and helped us grow as a couple.
Excellent question. We are still potentially naively hoping things will improve by the end of this year, but are working to make our day safe and fun for everyone. We kept our guest list small (90) and picked a venue where everything would be outside with COVID safety in mind. We are asking all our guests to be fully vaccinated and boosted if eligible. As an extra layer of safety, consider getting tested within 72 hours of the wedding, and we are hoping to have rapid tests available for those who were unable to find a test. We will have masks and hand sanitizer available. If you are eligible (5+) and aren't vaccinated, reach out and let's talk about why and perhaps we can find another time to celebrate with you. We aren't interested in a super spreader event, let's celebrate together safely!
Aim for fun cocktail attire, please. We do want everyone to feel comfortable, so wear what makes you feel good! It is going to be VERY hot so no need for a full suit. Wear something to keep you cool and plan is to be shoeless by the end of the night
