Flight

San Diego International Airport (SAN)

SAN is the closest airport to fly into (approximately a 40 minute drive from our ceremony and reception locations). Another option is Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), which is about an hour and 45 minutes away.

House Or Rental

Airbnb / Vrbo

There are lots of great options for home rentals in the area! We recommend checking out Airbnb, Vrbo, or a similar site. If you'd like to be closer to the beach, check out the Oceanside / Carlsbad areas (about 30 minutes from the ceremony and reception locations). Otherwise, rentals located in either Escondido or San Marcos would provide convenient access to the ceremony and reception.

Travel Note

Transportation

We recommend that you rent a car, as Ubers/Lyfts from the airport to Escondido are at least ~$50 each way and there will not be a shuttle service from the ceremony to the reception location. Additionally, we hope that our out-of-town guests will use this trip as an opportunity to enjoy the unique beauty of Southern California! Check out the "Things to Do" page for some exploration tips.

Hilton Garden Inn San Diego/Rancho Bernardo

This hotel is located about 15-20 minutes from the ceremony and reception locations.

Travel Note

Public Transportation

If you'd like to use public transportation, you can find more information at this website: https://gonctd.com. The Sprinter bus is a cheap and convenient way to get from Escondido to Oceanside (walking distance from the beach) in the same amount of time it would take to drive that distance, without the hassle of looking for parking along the coast!
