Cassadi's Perspective I have always been a very shy, introverted person. When I started PT school in May 2022, I wanted to make more friends and was determined to be more outgoing. Of course, on the first day of PT orientation, they made us do an icebreaker game where we had to find someone who matched a description and have them sign the paper. The very first person I met was Dylan. We quickly became friends and hung out throughout orientation. I continued to try to be outgoing during the first semester of PT school, and since Dylan is super outgoing, I eventually built a great group of friends that I hope will stay in my life forever. Fast forward to April 2023—Dylan and I began texting and flirting a bit, but I had no idea if he actually liked me. On March 7, 2023, I decided I was going to figure out what was going on between us and invited him over for some one-on-one time at my condo to watch my favorite movie, Sing, since he hadn’t seen it yet. While watching this amazing movie, Dylan kissed me. We still go back and forth on who made the first move because, while he literally did, I definitely set him up for the slam dunk. At that time, we both weren’t sure if we were ready to be in a relationship, but we really enjoyed spending time together. We decided to give it a shot on June 13, 2023, and have never looked back. I’ve never believed in soulmates, but I truly could not have asked for a more perfect partner for me than Dylan. Dylan's Perspective I've always been an outgoing person and so quirky (lol). During orientation at MUSC, I tried to show the Southern in me since it was my first time living below the Mason-Dixon line. I talked to many good people, and even some soon to be great friends at orientation, but one person in particular stood out to me. That person's name was Cassadi Sobas, and she was the gorgeous Southern gal I was told about prior to moving to Charleston. We had an instant connection as friends. We stayed friends for a while focusing on our studies and separate lives. Fast forward to 2023 and that is when it all began to shift. What began from sharing and watching favorite movies blossomed into the beautiful relationship that exists today. Cassadi became my priority and the only person I wanted to be around. She was consistent with her compassion, intelligence, and most of all, patience for me. From going on picnics to parks and wildlife refuges to staying in all day watching movies, I have loved every second of getting to know her. She is all I dream of and all I wish to have. I love you, Cassadi Sobas.
