I'm coming in from out of town and don't have a vehicle.

Answer

Uber and Lyft are not very common in the Brainerd, MN area. However, there are shuttles to and from the Minneapolis airport to the Brainerd area, and we will have a shuttle to drive guests to and from Grand View Lodge on the day of the ceremony.

Where should I park and will there be parking costs?

Answer

Parking is free at Grand View Lodge, follow signs for Event Parking. We are also providing a shuttle to the ceremony from the Country Inn & Suites and Super 8 hotels in Baxter/Brainerd and back after the reception.

What time does the ceremony begin?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:30 PM CST out on the Grand Staircase of Grand View Lodge (located immediately behind the main lodge. Venue doors open for seating at 5:00 PM CST. In case of rain, the ceremony will be held in the Heritage Room, just inside the main lodge.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

While difficult to know for sure, historically July 25th's average forecast is a high of 80° F and a low of 56° F.

What time is dinner served?

Answer

Drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be served during Cocktail Hour on the patio from 6:00 - 7:00 PM CST, followed by the Reception with dinner in the Heritage Room.

Answer

If you have a severe food allergy, such as peanut or shellfish, please contact the Bride or Groom to make arrangements.

The hotel says there are no more rooms under the hotel block.

Answer

This means the Bride or Groom need to add more rooms to the block, please contact Alyssa so that she may do so.

Should I bring cash for the bar?

Answer

We are hosting a variety of soft drinks, beer, and wine during the Cocktail Hour and Reception. Hard liquor will be available for purchase.
