Manatee Public Beach is a 7 acre beach with the following amenities - Beach, Benches, Café, Gift Shop, Grills, Picnic Tables, Playground, Recycle Container, Rest Rooms, Showers with Foot Wash, Trash Receptacles, Trolley Stop, and Water Fountains.

The Monkey Bus travels all over Anna Maria Island, Cortez and across the bridge by request. You can call 941-565-6542 to schedule a ride anywhere from 12noon to 3am 7 days a week. “Rides for Tips” is their slogan as there is no official charge for this service.

Monkey Bus Free transportation around the Island

Anna Maria Island Trolley operates daily at no cost to riders . The trolley runs from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. and visits each stop approximately every 20 minutes. The service to Sarasota runs from 6 a.m. until 11 a.m. with pickup every half hour.

Anna Maria trolleys are air-conditioned, and some vehicles offer open-air seating. Stops are covered and are located every 2-4 blocks on the route.
