Jeci and John had their first Bumble date at Camp Bar in Milwaukee's third ward. Jeci's grandma was secretly lurking nearby in case Jeci needed a rescue or if "Johann"'s accent was too thick to understand. Luckily John and Jeci found out they had a lot in common and much to talk about. Grandma's assistance was appreciated, but thankfully not needed.

At John's family's cabin, with his grandma's diamonds, John snuck up behind Jeci and got down on one knee. The rest is a complete blur. Jeci thinks she said yes and John believes he put the ring on her finger.
