Stephen and Kathryn first met when Stephen was on a date with Kathryn's freshmen year roommate (scandalous we know haha!) Things obviously didn't work out with the other gal, but luckily Stephen and Kathryn became good friends after that. (Or should we say, Kathryn thought they were friends but Stephen may or may not of had a crush.) About a year later, Kathryn realized they might be more than friends and they started "talking." Then on March 14th 2017 during Spring Break in Fort Lauderdale, FL they officially made it official. Stephen and Kathryn have been steadfast in their love ever since. Now 7 years, a move to NYC, and San Francisco later, they are as strong as ever, and so excited to finally say "I DO!"

Stephen proposed to Kathryn on the Pont Des Arts in Paris France on 4-10-22. Prior to the trip Kathryn had no clue this was Stephens intention until her coworkers started saying "You're going to Paris with your boyfriend of 5 years, of course he is proposing!" Thank gosh for those coworkers because that prompted Kathryn to get her nails done! Stephen worked for months with Joelle and the jeweler to create the perfect ring for Kathryn. There were some hiccups leading up to the proposal (he almost had to check his back with the ring in it, the lunch before the proposal was hilariously awful, and the original spot he wanted to propose was close for construction.) But all those hiccups just added to the wonderful story. Once the two stepped on to the bridge, magically the tourists cleared out and created the perfect spot for them to stand. This also gave the photographer Stephen hired the perfect angle. Additionally once Kathryn said "YES" a pianist on the bridge started playing Summertime by Ella Fitzgerald, which is one of the couples favorite songs (we promise they were not paid haha!) Everything about the proposal and the trip was a dream.
