FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive and start finding your seat by 3:15PM so that the ceremony may start promptly at 3:30PM.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We're so glad you asked! Rebecca says: "Cowboy Country Club" Hunter says: "High Class, White Trash" We kindly ask guests to skip the jeans. Ties and jackets are totally optional, we just want everyone to have fun with bright colors and fun patterns (just no greens, please!). Think semi-formal/cocktail with a western twist and you’ll fit right in. Boots are highly encouraged, but if they’re not your thing, we recommend avoiding thin heels since the terrain can be a little uneven.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Our wedding has been planned primarily as an adult-focused celebration. However, if you do need to bring your child, please let us know their age so we can plan seating and any meal accommodations. If you your child was unintentionally left off the reservation, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing us: rebeccahunterwedding@gmail.com We completely understand that every family’s situation is different and want you to make the decision that works best for you. We truly appreciate the communication as we finalize plans for our special day.

Question

Answer

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

First off, thank you so much for traveling to celebrate with us! We've put together a list of great hotels near the venue that you can book for the weekend. All details are under the "Travel" tab. The Black Canyon Inn does not offer room blocks, but have rooms available for guests. There are also plenty of hotels and AirBNBs in the area. Please note - this venue and other hotels within the area tend to fill up quickly from general Estes Park tourism and other events, we recommend you book your stay plenty in advance. We recommend booking your stay as soon as possible.

Question

Is this an indoor or outdoor event?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outside under a beautiful pavilion overlooking the mountains. Following the ceremony, cocktail hour on a scenic lawn, with a backup weather location available. The reception will take place indoors.

Question

What is the elevation of Estes Park?

Answer

Estes Park sits at an elevation of 7,522 feet above sea level, and this can have some effects on your body, especially if you're not accustomed to higher altitudes. To ensure a comfortable experience, we recommend staying hydrated throughout your trip. Since the air is thinner, you may find that a few drinks feel stronger than they would at lower elevations. The combination of the high altitude and the Colorado mountain sun can be intense, so please be mindful of the effects. We suggest wearing sunscreen, eating well, drinking plenty of water, and pacing yourself if you plan to explore or take on any outdoor activities. We want you to have a wonderful and safe time, so please take care of yourselves and enjoy all that Estes Park has to offer!

Question

We are wanting to make a vacation out of our trip, any recommendations of things to do?

Answer

We are honored that you are taking the time to celebrate with us and we hope you take the time to truly enjoy one of our favorite places in the world. We have crafted a variety of activities, places to go, and more under our "Things To Do" tab.
