God was very meticulous and purposeful when he put us together. We met at church youth group in 9th grade. From 9th grade to now, we have always been best friends. Despite attending different high schools and colleges, we always remained close. In October of 2019, Tyler was in Gainesville for a football game. That weekend, he told me that he wanted to date me and take our friendship to the next level. I was not quite on the same page. I was trying to finish college and figure out my future. I told my college roommates that if I dated Tyler, I was going to marry him (I was right). I didn't think I was ready for that kind of relationship and didn't want to risk losing one of the best friends I had. Despite me saying no, Tyler was persistent yet patient. He continued to reassure me that I was the girl he was meant to be with and would wait for me as long as I needed. In March of 2020, I finally came to my senses and saw what was right in front of my face. From the moment we started dating (and even before that), I knew Tyler was the man I was going to marry. He is patient, kind, hard-working, and the perfect balance to all of my craziness. I thank God everyday for choosing me to be Tyler's wife. We can't wait to celebrate our love & God’s story with all of the people we cherish most!
Caroline Cash is the love of my life. Our love story is one centered around faith and patience. When I met her in 9th grade at youth group, we started a friendship that would continue throughout the course of our young lives. That friendship is what makes our relationship so strong today. Caroline is not only my best friend, but my forever partner. In October 2019, I came to the realization that I didn’t want to be with anyone other than Caroline. I knew it wasn’t going to be easy to transition from friends to dating, but I was patient and understanding. Caroline didn’t want to do long distance with me. I was getting my Master's at Rollins while she was finishing school at UF. I told Caroline I wasn’t going anywhere and would wait for as long as she needed. I knew, in the bottom of my heart, that I was going to spend the rest of my life with her. In March 2020, Caroline’s senior year was cut short and she came back to Winter Park. At that point, she decided to give us a shot. I couldn’t have been any happier. From the moment we started dating, I knew she was the one. Caroline completes me. She’s everything I’ve ever wanted and more. She has the biggest heart and would do anything for the people she loves. When the chips are down, I know for a fact that Caroline will be there for me. It’s the way she is. Everyday I pray for Caroline just as I prayed that one day we would be in the situation that we are in right now.
