Where should I stay?

If you're looking for a B&B, we recommend the area around Lake Merritt (ie. Cleveland Heights, Ivy Hill, Grand Lake, Lakeside) but can also make recommendations for other areas. Please reach out directly if you have questions!

Save 15% at this waterfront hotel in Jack London Square using the link below (or call and mention you're part of the Casey-Simmons wedding)! It's a touristy area, but that's because its lovely. Includes a pool with a view of the harbor, nearby waterfront dining (and bowling) as well as some less touristy spots nearby.

Considering a rental car?

We encourage guests from out of town to consider using a combination of public transit and Uber/Lyft for the weekend, especially if you're planning to be out celebrating at night. (Oakland has a bit of a problem with car break-ins at the moment.) However, there is limited parking at the venue for guests who are driving.
